If Dick Dale and Stiv Bators had a baby,
It’d crawl out of the ocean with a leather jacket, a switchblade comb,
and a surfboard covered in leopard print.
We’re the sound of a tiki bar brawl at high tide—
reverb-soaked, hip-shaking, and just a little bit unhinged.
If you like your rock ‘n’ roll with sand in its boots
and a punk sneer under its sunglasses,
welcome to the wild world of our band!

Bio

38 Coffin is an electrifying surf-garage punk band emerging straight out of the underground music scene of Seattle, Washington. Founded in 2020 by powerhouse vocalist and guitarist Lauren Goffin, the band has carved out a unique sonic space by smashing together the raw energy of early '77 punk with the driving, reverb-heavy instrumentals of 1960s surf legends.

The Sound & Aesthetic

Often described as "surf-noir", the band crafts catchy, high-octane anthems spiked with a heavy dose of camp and retro-horror aesthetics. Their lyrics dive into delinquent delights, delinquent cars, monsters, and toxic romances—a deliberate homage to the trashy fuzz of icons like The Cramps and the fierce swagger of Johnny Thunders.
